Creative Interfaces lab members present at C&C ‘24

In June, five members of the Creative Interfaces lab presented at the 2024 ACM Creativity and Cognition conference in Chicago, IL. In the Graduate Symposium, three PhD students presented the state of their research:

Maalvika Bhat: “Creative Explainable AI Tools to Understand Algorithmic Decision-Making”

Molly de Blanc: “Every Body Dance Now”

Aidan Fitzsimons: “Overcoming challenges to personal narrative co-writing with AI: A participatory design approach for under-resourced high school students and those that support them”

Additionally, Hasti Darabipourshiraz and Sophie Rollins presented posters on two of the lab’s AI literacy museum exhibits, DataBites and Knowledge Net.
